Economics
Junior Achievement Economics is a one-semester or
full-year course in which students examine the economic system , explore
business operations, study the emerging global economy and acquire
knowledge and skills necessary to function as competent citizens, workers
and consumers
Objectives

Describe the price system, illustrates how supply and demand interact to
establish market prices and allocate resources and explores
consumer-related issues

Methodology
A combination of traditional theory with practical hands-on activities
supported by software programs and the presence of a volunteer business
consultant. Activities include: discussions, games, video projection,
creative activities, tests, questionnaires, team work, role plays.
