JA Connections

The program contains three components: Success Skills, Workplace Internships and Leadership JA. It helps students develop the knowledge, skill and personal characteristics to excel in school, careers and the community.

  • Number of weeks: 13-15 weeks

Methodology

A combination of traditional theory with practical hands-on activities supported by software programs and the presence of a volunteer business consultant. Activities include: discussions, games, video projection, creative activities, tests, questionnaires, team work, role plays.

  • Teachers of Economics, Civic Studies, Geography/History, and/or English

  • Volunteer Business Consultants (experienced businesspeople/ parents/ university graduates) trained by Junior Achievement International
